The operating system is stored on a non-volatile flash memory chip which ensures that the critical operating files are protected against conventional PC operating system problems like viruses or hard disk drive crashes. Hard disk drives can be configured for redundancy and in the event of a hard disk drive failure, NVdigital remains fully operational. Real-time recording performance Selected models of the NVdigital recorders us dedicated recording chips for every camera, resulting in crystal clear twenty-five (25) frames per second real-time recording on every recorded channel. Some digital video recorders claim real-time recording however, share their global frame rate amongst active cameras. NVdigital is always able to record in real-time, regardless of the number of cameras actively recording. By recording at 25 frames per second, NVdigital will capture every moment as it is occurring. Compared to non-real-time or time lapse recorders, which means NVdigital will not miss critical events when capturing objects in motion. Simple User-friendly operation NVdigital can be controlled either via the front panel, IR remote controller, and keyboard or USB mouse. Menus are password protected and user accounts can be programmed with custom access permissions. Configurations can be saved and loaded via remote access allowing for one step programming of the system. NVdigital has easy backup methods via USB devices, CD-RW / DVD-RW & network download. High capacity recording Models within the NVdigital series range are able to be configured with an incredible 8TB of hard disk storage internally. Designed with advanced thermal management, NVdigital has been designed to ensure that hard disk drive storage installed internally is kept at ideal operating temperatures. Built-in archiving With built-in CD-RW or DVD-RW, archiving video footage has never been easier. Either during playback or via the inbuilt archiving menu, footage can be tagged and burnt to disc with one easy click or press of a button. Multiple time periods and cameras can all be combined onto the one disc. All archived footage remains in the encrypted proprietary format for evidentiary purposes and the player software is automatically included to ensure the footage can be accessed on any computer system. Watermark technology also ensures that the footage cannot be tampered with. Powerful remote accessibility With a built-in web server, NVdigital is accessible via Internet Explorer and does not require application software to be pre-installed, giving you full control from anywhere in the world. Video footage can be streamed to remote clients at lower resolutions and frame rates without affecting the recorded footage on the digital video recorder. This allows the remote client user to make efficient use of the available network bandwidth and the streamed footage can be reviewed in the original recorded high-resolution format if more detail is required.
